Furnco started in Malmö 25 years ago with focus on sales of bathroom interiors, plastic handles for cabinets and boxes, and other accessories for the furniture business. The name is an abbreviation of "FURNiture Company" and is well known in Europe as a reliable supplier to the furniture industry. The company was earlier the world's biggest manufacture of plastic handles. Today the focus is to develop lighting systems and electronics for lighting and fittings, still for the furniture industry. The headquarters are situated in Vellinge, outside of Malmö, with 9 employees and a turnover of SEK 27 millions.
